How competitive is NCAA athletics?
The path to professional sports is a competitive one. Less than 2% of student-athletes make it to the pros. Most student athletes use their collegiate sports careers to gain valued education. That is what helps them prepare for life after college as well as life after professional sports. With over 460,000 collegiate level student-athletes, almost all of them will go pro outside of the sports arena.
